Stay Connected to the Celebration
Check back often as new events and activities are added regularly. We are working with community partners, local businesses, and organizations to make this a countywide celebration full of opportunities to connect, learn, and create memories.
Local businesses are encouraged to participate by submitting events to be featured on this page, making it easy for both residents and tourists to discover what’s happening throughout the community.
Featured Community Programs
The Sumter County Public Library has several exciting activities planned, including a special Passport Program designed to complement our America 250 Roadmap experience. This interactive program will encourage participants to visit locations, engage with local history, and celebrate the spirit of community.
In addition, the Sumter County Board of County Commissioners will host a Community Government Event at the new Gloria R. Hayward Service Center on June 26, offering residents and visitors a unique opportunity to learn more about local government services and community initiatives.
