Fall Festival

Committed to enhancing quality of life, Bushnell celebrates its 140th anniversary with the 40th Annual Fall Festival this year. Last year, Bushnell canceled the Fall Festival due to recovery efforts after Hurricane Milton, and this ‘Small Town, Big Heart’ forged forward. Details are still being gathered for this great moment in time. So, as the City continues its planning, now is the time to start yours and join in the Bushnell joy.

Brown’s Adventure Farm

Owned and created by Brown & Brown Farms, Brown’s Adventure Farm is a family-friendly oasis of farm fun that everyone must experience firsthand. With over 30 attractions, good eats, tasty treats, and photo opportunities to mark the memories, Brown’s Adventure Farm is a year-round fun fest, and the fall is not excluded!

Join in the joy with the following events:

  • Five Weeks of Fall, A weekly two-day event for five weekends only, with the fireworks show on October 4th, 11th, and 25th. Each weekend has a different theme and offers a ton of fun!
  • Junk in the Trunk, A bargain shopper’s paradise, happens the first Saturday of every month.

Wildwood

Known as The Crossroads of Florida, the City of Wildwood “has been an important connection point for those traveling to and from other parts of the state” dating back to the late 1800s. Now, it’s time to celebrate the season as Wildwood crosses from summer to fall!

Wildwood offers a wealth of things to do, with the Baker House leading the historic highlights. Today, the Baker House is 135 years old with original flooring and a few changes. As a Wildwood landmark, themed tours and events are offered year-round, like:

Another event to add to your collection of must-attend events is the ever-so-popular Spooktacular Party. This party is a community favorite, and once you join in the Wildwood joy, it will be yours too!

Agritourism in Sumter County

In addition to all the fun events, it’s important to remember the region’s heart and heritage: agriculture! While local farms offer year-round tours and educational experiences, during the fall, their gates are open to hayrides, corn mazes, and farm festivals for a fun day out on both small and large scales.
